bnfc software package provides Compiler front-end generator based on Labelled BNF, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bnfc
bnfc is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bnfc package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bnfc *
You will get with bnfc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
